Bring large pot of salted water to a boil. Add broccoli rabe and cook until crisp-tender (one minute). Strain broccoli rabe, while reserving all cooking fluid. Cook orecchiette in same pot of water (eight minutes). Drain, while reserving 1 cup of liquid. Heat oil in a skillet on medium heat. Cook sausage until brown (eight minutes). Saute with garlic and pepper flakes (30 seconds). Add broccoli rabe and pasta. Slowly mix reserved liquid (remember that?) until moist. Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Enjoy!
