Notes
Make absolutely sure to mix these puppies as little as possible. The more they mix, the warmer they get (and actually start cooking, which is crazy). So mix, but lumpy batter is ok.
Ingredients
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (the whole bag)
- 1 cup roasted pecans
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350*. Combine sugars and butter, mix 1 minute. Add eggs, mix 30 seconds. Combine and slowly add dry ingredients (~3 1/2 minutes). Mix in nuts and chocolate chips by hand. Bake 20 minutes. Enjoy!
