Betty Crocker's Lemon-Orange Cupcakes

Makes A LOT of icing (probably halving recipe is better?)



Heat over to 350*F. Mix flour, baking powder, and set. In another bowl, beat butter for 30 seconds. Gradually add sugar, followed by another 2 minutes of mixing. Add eggs, vanilla, and lemon peel. On low speed, alternately add flour and milk (1/3 flour, 1/2 milk, etc.) Bake for 20-25 minutes. Mix powdered sugar, butter, orange peel, and 3 tablespoons orange juice. Once mixed, slowly add in remaining orange juice to reach the desired consistency.
